Harvest Real Food Catering at Elm Rock Inn

Katie & Tom’s ElmRock Inn Wedding was awesome. They live in Long Island but have a love for the mountains and climbing so ElmRock Inn in Stone Ridge NY was a perfect location for their upstate wedding. I got to know them before the wedding and discovered that they’re a pretty awesome couple. We even did an engagement shoot at Mohonk Preserve with some climbing themed photos.

The day of the wedding was a little rough because of the threat of storms but that didn’t stop them from having an awesome time. First I did some photos of them getting ready and Katie getting her hair done by Brigette from Signature Braids. Then we did a first look and group photos before the ceremony in the yard. The ceremony was on the porch since it was covered and that’s where they tied the knot. Literally. They tied a knot in a climbing rope. I thought that was an awesome touch.

The cocktail hour and reception were perfect. The food by Harvest Real Food Catering was fantastic as always. It was a little cold out but DJ Bri Swatek got things moving on the dancefloor.

To end the evening there was a bonfire complete with marshmallows and buckets of beer. All told, Katie and Tom had an awesome ElmRock Inn wedding weekend.

Tralee Farm Wedding – Adrianne & Austin

Tralee Farm Wedding

Adrianne & Austin’s Tralee Farm wedding was a day to remember. It was perfect in so many ways. The ceremony was a St. Joseph Church in New Paltz, NY and the reception was at the barn at Tralee Farm in Stone Ridge, NY. The bridal party was large and I had fun mixing up the poses for the group photos. Adrianne & Austin are so much in love that you can see it in the photos. I had met them for an engagement shoot in the spring and to check out Tralee Farm so we were very comfortable with each other and on the day of the wedding it was super fun and relaxed. Overall it was an awesome day and I captured some great images for them to treasure and remember their Tralee Farm Wedding day.

Shadow Lawn Wedding in High Falls NY

Amanda and Keith’s Shadow Lawn Wedding in High Falls was one of the best times I’ve ever had shooting in High Falls NY. And I live in High Falls so that’s saying something. It was the first time I shot a Shadow Lawn wedding and I was overwhelmed with beautiful photo opportunities (which is a good problem to have). I just kept shooting and I’m super happy with the results. All of Amanda and Keith’s details came together to create Shadow Lawn Wedding that was memorable and uniquely their own. The flowers were from The Green Cottage and were amazing. The catering was by Main Course in New Paltz NY and the food was great! They live in Brooklyn and their guests traveled to the Hudson Valley wedding from all over. I’m sure everyone had a great time since it was one awesome party. Inn at Stone Ridge Wedding of Lindsey & Steve

Steve and Lindsey’s upstate spring wedding at The Inn at Stone Ridge in ended up being the perfect day. Lindsey was six months pregnant for the wedding and she looked amazing in her dress. The weather was fantastic for the middle of April so the kids all had a blast running around the property. But the most important factor was that Steve and Lindsey are awesome. They were both really easy going and the day went perfectly and everyone there, including the photographer, had a great time.
