Hudson Valley Fall Wedding – Briana & Todd’s Hurley NY Wedding
You often hear the term “peak foliage” when discussing October weddings in New York, well Briana and Todd’s wedding was during the peak for sure. I had worked with them before when I did their engagement shoot in September so I know that they were easy to work with. I started the day at Briana’s parents house in Hurley before heading over to the Hurley Reformed Church for the ceremony. We did the formal group photos in the yard of the Reverend’s house next to the Church. It was between a parking lot and a highway, but I was able to keep the photos tight and make the most of the fiery autumn colors. Next we headed to a farm that Todd had worked at as a teenager for some photos of the newlyweds. The night finished at the Skytop Steakhouse in Kingston where many of their musical friends made cameos with the live band. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a better day.
