Keith Ferris Photo is Hudson Valley Photographer who has been serving discerning clients for 15 years. I take pride in working for a wide range of clients who value great photography. My goal is to deliver the best possible experience for all my clients.
I love recording every detail and emotion – from a teary eyed mom at her daughter’s wedding to the children’s reaction to the cake. I’m comfortable photographing in all sorts of environments and with all kinds of people – in a studio or in the middle of a snowstorm. I take pride in being easy-going and highly adaptable, two traits that are very important to me as a photographer.
I have worked as a professional photographer in the Hudson Valley for fifteen years. While working on my Fine Arts Degree in Photography from SUNY New Paltz I got my start as a photojournalist for the Times Herald-Record. I worked as a stringer for the Associated Press and completed freelance assignments for numerous clients, including the New York Daily News and Newsday.
Most recently I worked as the Senior Photographer at The Culinary Institute of America for five years. As their photographer, I contributed to their marketing efforts for three campuses. My work from the CIA has been published in numerous cookbooks, websites, newspapers and magazines around the world.
When I’m not taking pictures I can usually be found enjoying the outdoors hiking in the Gunks or the Catskills with my family, snowboarding, or riding my mountain bike.
